The Conklin Center Post Office was established in Broome County in December, 1893. Prior to that it was Conklin Centre. The first postmaster of Conklin Center was Alfred Bagley. The Conklin Center Post Office was discontinued on April 29, 1905 and began receiving service from Binghamton.
