Doraville: May 6, 1857 - January 16, 1899

The Doraville Post Office was established in Broome County on May 6, 1857.  The first postmaster of
Doraville was Charles B. Doolittle.  The Doraville Post Office was discontinued on January 16, 1899
and began receiving service from the Center Village Post Office.

Doraville NY/Nov 8th Black manuscript town and date.  Pen cancel on 3 cent rose (# 65).
                     Manuscript "Rec'd Nov 11 1862 on front.  Interesting letter about finishing studies.
